Choose your setting at ‘A Table Outside’
Created and hosted by Masterchef finalist Daniel Britten, whose cooking is synonymous with Surrey, this foodie experience is an absolute must for this summer.
With ‘A Table Outside’ the star of the show is the food grown or raised on the field where you dine. An outdoor dining experience where guests are seated at long tables in farms, vineyards and other beautiful places throughout Surrey.

Cinema under the stars at Hampton Court Palace
What could be more romantic than a champagne picnic and movie under the stars in the East Front Gardens of Hampton Court Palace?
Luna Cinema have it covered. Hire inflatable wedges, snuggle under a blanket, and munch on rotisserie chicken and beef from Scottish Gastro Pub of the Year, Cock N Bull. Booking is essential as these events are incredibly popular.

A day of Wings and Wheels
Celebrate the long history of British aviation and motoring with this popular annual event on August 25-26, showcasing some of the finest civil and military aircraft displays in the UK.
Combined with an astounding line-up of record-breaking cars and motoring demonstrations, the air show is an adrenalin-fuelled family day out not to be missed. There’s flying displays led by an assortment of RAF legends, including The Red Arrows and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Theatre, family fun and all that Jazz at Polesden Lacy
National Trust’s Polesden Lacy is offering a fantastic programme of events for families this summer. From family games, creative activities and live theatre, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. Lazy Jazz Sunday is a particular highlight, bringing an exciting line-up of jazz musicians to serenade you as you relax in the sunshine on the south lawn every Sunday afternoon in June, July and August.
For a real treat of traditional British theatre, book your tickets for some open-air Shakespeare. Hilarious comedy, The Merry Wives of Windsor, runs June 30, July 1, 7 and 8.

Luxury Gin & Cocktail Festival
The Gin Kitchen is a new microdistillery in Dorking creating delicious artisan spirits. Later this summer they will be hosting their first Gin and Cocktail Festival on Saturday, September 22.
This is a chance to sample their signature gins Gutsy Monkey and Dancing Dragontail, which are available to buy in Fortnum and Mason, as well as other liqueurs, vodkas and limoncello, and creative cocktails Gutsy Negroni and Reeba Fever. Other local distillers including Hidden Curiosities, Slake Spirits and Harley House Gin will be bringing their gins for you to try too.

Spot the talent at the Guildford Fringe Festival
In its sixth year, the Guildford Fringe Festival will take place from the June 29 – July 29. The festival, which is held in the heart of Guildford town centre, has much to offer including theatre, comedy, poetry, music, visual arts, children’s shows, workshops and talks.
The Guildford Fringe Festival is completely open-access and anyone can enter into the programme of events for a small entry fee. What’s more, the event attracts some of the most talented producers, acts and artists, many of which will be previewing their work before taking it up to Edinburgh Fringe!
