Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi, known for his innovative French cuisine, has opened Brooklands, an exciting new restaurant named after the historic birthplace of British racing sport and flight innovation, a short drive away from Fetcham Park.

Located on the rooftop of the five-star Peninsula Hotel in Belgravia, London, the space and décor play homage to the classic eras of British aviation and motorsport. Dishes are focused on championing British ingredients using traditional French techniques. Hailing from Lyon, France, Bosi is widely celebrated for his avant-garde approach to French cuisine.

With two Michelin stars awarded to his flagship restaurant, Claude Bosi at Bibendum in London, Bosi’s cooking philosophy involves a perfect blend of traditional French culinary techniques with daring, modern twists.

A Homage to British Motoring & Aviation

Throughout the restaurant there is a collection of specially curated artefacts honouring Brooklands’ history. Amongst the most remarkable is a vintage Napier Railton, the 1933 race car that set – and still holds – Brooklands’ speed record.

A striking scale-model of the iconic Concorde nose is suspended from the ceiling of the main dining room. Many pieces of furniture are replicas from the original Concorde lounge. Leather-lined paneling is inspired by the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost and a glass chandelier resembles the blades of its turbine engines. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a terrace with stunning views of London’s skyline further enhance the sense of being airborne.
